Next Steps

Next Steps is an integrated peer and family support and engagement program serving individuals with mental health and/or alcohol and drug issues. Based at San Diego County Psychiatric Hospital, this referral-based program helps participants identify and address their mental health, physical health and substance abuse issues. Staff provide mentorship and modeling, empowering clients to develop and use self-management skills. Clients are also supported by referrals to outpatient and community services to aid their journey to recovery.
